Refunds
Last updated 17 October 2026
1. In plain words
- All payments are final. We give a refund only at our discretion, case by case.
- A poor or unexpected AI result does not qualify for a refund.
- You can cancel at any time in your account settings. Your plan keeps running to the end of the period you paid for. There is no refund for unused time or Credits.
- If a generation fails, or is cancelled before it starts, the Credits come back to your balance by themselves. You do not need to ask.
- If you think we charged you by mistake or twice, write to us and we will look into it.
- Your legal rights as a consumer are not reduced by anything on this page. Where the law requires a refund, we give it.

2. What a Credit is
A Credit is a unit on your balance that you spend on actions such as an AI picture. The pricing page shows how many Credits each plan and pack gives and what each action costs. A Credit is taken when a job starts and returned if the job fails or is cancelled before it starts. Credits have no cash value and cannot be moved to another account.
3. What happens in each situation
| Situation | What happens | What you do |
|---|---|---|
| A generation fails, is refused by the AI, or is cancelled while it is still queued | The Credits return to your balance at once | Nothing |
| You cancel your plan | The plan runs to the end of the period you paid for; no refund for unused time or Credits | Cancel in your account settings |
| You are not happy with an AI result | Not a reason for a refund | Nothing |
| We charged you twice or by mistake | We look into it and put the extra charge right | Write to us |
| You ask for a refund for any other reason | A refund is at our discretion, case by case; we may say no | Write to us |
| You dispute the charge with your bank | See section 6 | Write to us first |
| We close your account because of a breach of our rules | No refund | Nothing |
A refund goes back to the original payment method through Stripe and usually appears within a few banking days, depending on your bank. When we refund a purchase, the Credits it gave are taken from your balance.
4. How to ask
Write to [email protected] from the email address of your account. Say which charge (date and amount) and why you are asking.
5. EU and UK consumers: the 14-day right of withdrawal
If you live in the EU or the UK and buy as a consumer, you normally have 14 days from the purchase to withdraw without giving a reason. RunSlide starts your plan, or makes your Credits available, as soon as you pay. By law the right of withdrawal is lost for digital content once we begin, but only if you first agree that we start now, you acknowledge that you lose the right, and we confirm this to you.
That is why checkout asks you to tick this box before you pay:
"Start my plan now. I understand I lose my 14-day right of withdrawal."
Stripe records that you ticked the box and sends the receipt for your purchase to your email address.
If you believe you still have the right of withdrawal, write to [email protected] with the date and the amount of the purchase.
6. Chargebacks
If you dispute a charge with your bank before writing to us, we may pause your account while we look into it. Please write to us first; it is faster.
7. Taxes and currency
Prices are in US dollars (USD). Taxes are shown at checkout where they apply. If we give a refund, it includes the tax that was charged on the refunded amount. Your bank may charge a currency fee that we cannot refund.
8. Changes
If we change this page, the version in force when you bought applies to that purchase.
